UsingtheThinkServerEasyStartupprogram
ThistopicprovidesinstructionsonhowtousetheThinkServerEasyStartupprogramtosetupandconfigure
yourserver.
TheThinkServerEasyStartupprogramsimplifiestheprocessofconfiguringRAIDandinstallingsupported
WindowsandLinuxoperatingsystemsanddevicedriversonyourserver.Theprogramworksinconjunction
withyourWindowsorLinuxoperatingsysteminstallationdisctoautomatetheprocessofinstallingthe
operatingsystemandassociateddevicedrivers.Thisprogramisprovidedwithyourserveronaself-starting
(bootable)ThinkServerEasyStartupDVD.TheuserguidefortheprogramalsoisontheDVDandcanbe
accesseddirectlyfromtheprograminterface.
IfyoudonothaveaThinkServerEasyStartupDVD,youalsocandownloadanISOimagefromtheLenovo
SupportWebsiteandmakeadiscbyyourself.

3.Printthereadmefileandreaditcarefully.
4.UseanopticaldriveandanyDVDburningsoftwaretocreateabootablediscwiththeISOimage.
