repeatedlypressandreleasetheF12keyratherthanleavingitpressedwhenturningonthecomputer.

3.SelectthedesiredstartupdevicefromtheStartupDeviceMenuandpressEntertobegin.

Selectingorchangingthestartupdevicesequence

Tovieworpermanentlychangetheconguredstartupdevicesequence,dothefollowing:

1.StarttheSetupUtilityprogram(see“StartingtheSetupUtilityprogram”onpage13).

2.SelectStartUp.

3.SelectQuickBootMode,Numlock,OptionKeysDisplay,tosetthesedevices.

4.SelectDisabledorEnabledandpressEnter.

5.PressESCtoreturntoExitandselectSavechangesandExit.

Ifyouhavechangedthesesettingsandwanttoreturntothedefaultsettings,selectLoadOptimalDefaults

ontheSetupUtilitymenu.

ExitingfromtheSetupUtilityprogram

Whenyounishviewingorchangingsettings,pressEsctoreturntotheSetupUtilityprogrammenu(you

mighthavetopressEscseveraltimes).Ifyouwanttosavethenewsettings,selectSavechangesandExit

beforeyouexit.Otherwise,yourchangeswillnotbesaved.
