IfyourtabletconnectstoaGlobalSystemforMobileCommunications(GSM)mobilenetwork(2Gor3G),
andyouneedtoeditthesettingsforanexistingaccesspointname(APN)orcreateanewAPN,youmust
obtaintheAPNanddetailedsettingsfromyourservicecarrier.
ToeditorcreateanewAPN,dothefollowing:
1.FromthemainHomescreen,touchtheAndroidSettingsicononLenovoLaunchZone,ortouchthe
applicationsiconfromtheactionbarandthentouchSettings.TheAndroidSettingsscreenopens.
2.TouchWireless&networks➙Mobilenetworks➙AccessPointNames.
3.TouchanexistingAPNtoedititortouchNewAPNtocreateanewone.EntertheAPNsettingsthatyou
obtainedfromyourcarrierbytouchingeachsettingthatyouneedtoedit.
4.Whenyouarenished,touchSave.

setup,ifaSIMcardisdetected,youaregiventheoptiontoactivateyourmobilenetworkaccount.
Ifyouchosenottoactivateyouraccountatthattime,youcanactivateyourmobilenetworkaccountafter
youinstallaSIMcardbydoingthefollowing:
1.FromthemainHomescreen,touchtheAndroidSettingsicononLenovoLaunchZone,ortouchthe
applicationsicon
fromtheactionbarandthentouchSettings.TheAndroidSettingsscreenopens.
2.TouchWireless&networks➙Mobilenetworks.
3.TouchDataenabledifitisdisabled.
4.TouchActivatedeviceandfollowtheinstructionsonthescreentoactivateyourmobilenetwork
accountandconnecttothemobilenetwork.
Tomanuallyselectanetwork,dothefollowing:
1.FromthemainHomescreen,touchtheAndroidSettingsicononLenovoLaunchZone,ortouchthe
applicationsiconfromtheactionbarandthentouchSettings.TheAndroidSettingsscreenopens.
2.TouchWireless&networks➙Mobilenetworks➙Networkoperators➙Searchnetworks.Thelist
ofmobiledatanetworkscurrentlyavailableisdisplayed.
3.Touchanetworkfromthenetworklist,andthenfollowtheinstructionsonthescreentoestablish
theconnection.
